About the Open Water + Fun Dives

Get your PADI Open Water certification in Trincomalee, then put it to work right away with two guided fun dives on our local reefs.

The course covers the theory, confined water skills and your open water training dives, all with small groups of at most 2 divers per guide. Once you're certified, you'll head back out with a guide to dive for fun, no skills to practise, just the reef.

Your certification is recognised worldwide, so you can dive anywhere once you're done. All equipment is included.

Who can join

Ages 10 and up. You need to be able to swim and be in reasonable health. You'll fill in a PADI medical form before starting; some conditions need a doctor's sign-off.

Questions about the Open Water + Fun Dives

When do the fun dives happen?

After you've finished the course and qualified, usually on the day after your last training dive. We'll plan the dates with you when you book.

What if I can't finish the course?

Some people need a little more time on a skill, and that's fine. Talk to your instructor. We'll work out the best way forward with you.
